Textile Fun - Try an Embellisher for the Weekend

No need to buy a machine for this course, one will be provided for each student. Experience the delights of the machine, creating easy textures and effects. Prepare to be amazed at how easy it is, and how a machine could transform your stitching!


8th - 10th February 2008
The Embellisher: Let's Get Started:

The new embellishing machines open up lots of possibilities for textiles. Bring your own machine (Babylock, Pfaff, Janome etc) and create a variety of textures and effects using a selection of materials. Suitable for beginners and for those with some experience


11th - 13th April 2008
Dyeing for Embroidery and other Textiles including patchwork:

Can you resist dyeing? Not only will we experiment with colour but also a variety of ways to 'resist'. Learn the basics or extend your knowledge.and build your own portfolio of samples.
Weekend April 11th-13th

13th - 15th June 2008
The Embellisher: Let's Move On:

The Embellisher can not only be used to create effects, but also for construction etc. Have fun as you discover some new uses for your machine, and also combine samples with simple stitching
