The two above workshops will look at some techniques featured in the book, but will also cover new effects that will further delight! Some of the 'fabrics' made will be suitable for conversion at the 3D workshop listed below.

The new embellishing machines open up lots of possibilities for textiles. Bring your own machine (Babylock, Pfaff, Janome etc) and create a variety of textures and effects using a selection of materials. Suitable for beginners and for those with some experience

Dyeing for Embroidery and other Textiles including patchwork:
Can you resist dyeing? Not only will we experiment with colour but also a variety of ways to 'resist'. Learn the basics or extend your knowledge.and build your own portfolio of samples.

Grayshott Workshops

Each week a different aspect will be considered. Samples will be worked and ideas for their use will be discussed. The maximum number on each date will be eight, but there is a possibility for another course if this one becomes over-subscribed.

Wednesday October 10th: Looking at 3D
Wednesday November 7th: Paper? On the embellisher?
Wendesday December 5th: TBA
